Young Mom’s Deals was started in October 2010 as a resource for those who wish to learn how to save at least 50% off every time that they shop in the grocery store. Robyn, Young Mom’s Deals’ founder, began couponing in August 2010 and quickly learned to utilize the hidden value of combining store sales, store coupons, and manufacturer’s coupons to make her limited income work as hard as it could for her. Since beginning her couponing quest, Robyn has saved her family hundreds, if not thousands of dollars, in grocery, health, beauty, baby, and pet supplies.Young Mom’s Deals is a daily updated site that highlights the best way to use coupons found in the newspaper inserts and printed online in combination with store sales to achieve the highest possible savings. By utilizing the methods highlighted in her posts, Robyn hopes to teach fellow consumers to beat the system and use their savings to create a financial safety net for their families to combat the current economic instability.
About Robyn
Robyn was born in Louisiana, but moved to Texas when she was an infant. For the majority of her life, she lived in a suburb of Austin called Round Rock. Currently, she and her family are living in Austin.
Robyn was always a quick study and worked hard to graduate in the Top 7% of her high school class, graduating with honors in 2007. From 2007-2011, Robyn attended the University of Texas at Austin, studying History. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in 2011.
In 2009, Robyn married her high school sweetheart, Stephen. They had been together for 4 years before they married. Then in 2010, they welcomed their daughter, Emma, into the world. Emma was born at 34 weeks and 5 days, making her more than a month early. She weighed 4 lbs, 5.4oz and was 16 inches long. Now, in 2012, Emma is two years old and has grown into an incredibly intelligent and articulate young lady. In 2012, Garrett was born, weighing 7 lbs, 1 oz and 20 inches long. Both children are happy and healthy, much to the delight of their parents.
Robyn makes it her personal mission in life to save as much money for her family as possible. To date, she has saved thousands of dollars and purchased items for her family that their budget didn’t allow for without the intense savings!
