Batiste Dry Shampoo Review

Have you ever tried a dry shampoo? There are tons of brands out there that make this product, but I’ve actually found one that I really like! Recently, I was given the opportunity to try and compare Batiste brand dry shampoo and Tresemme’s comparable product.

I sprayed the Tresemme into my hair and I was immediately turned off by the odor. I had expected something that smelled light and floral, but instead it smelled musty. Immediately, I went downstairs and asked my husband what he thought. I had barely gotten the words out of my mouth when he said, “That stuff smells really bad!” Wow, thanks a lot… Needless to say, I went upstairs and actually washed my hair. I’d say that defeated the point of a dry shampoo all together.

The other product I was given to try was made by Batiste. It was a new product for me, having never heard of or tried the brand before. I waited a few days after the Tresemme disaster to build up some oil in my hair, then sprayed the Batiste in Floral & Flirty blush into my hair. I was pleasantly surprised! It smelled exactly what I wanted it to smell like! My hair looked MUCH better than it did prior to using the dry shampoo!

The Batiste brand of dry shampoos comes in a variety of scents and even colors! Some of the sprays add in just hint of color or glitter. What a neat idea!
